Corey King

Corey D. King is a Grammy-winning trombonist and multi-instrumentalist based in Seattle and Berlin. Corey’s extraordinary talents as a producer, singer-songwriter, composer, and instrumentalist resonate globally. He boasts an impressive musical portfolio having shared the stage and studio with iconic figures such as Milton Nascimento, Gil Scott-Heron, Bonobo, Dr. Lonnie Smith, DJ Premier, Glen Hansard, Mos Def, Bilal, and Takuya Kuroda. Currently touring with the legendary Iggy Pop, his versatile skills have left an indelible mark on the world of music.

Corey attended Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before studying composition and jazz performance at New York's the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. While trombone was his main instrument, he quickly expanded his skills to singing and playing keyboards, as well as composing and producing.

Beyond the stage and studio, Corey envisions a future collaborating with fellow artists on their projects. Passionate about the intersection of music and visual storytelling, he aspires to compose and produce music for film and video directors.
