SJA hosts exceptional jazz pianist and educator Dave Frank for this masterclass and concert. One of the busiest solo jazz pianists and music educators on the scene today, Dave is the author of the best-selling Hal Leonard book and video series, Joy of Improv and Breakthrough to Improv and is a jazz ambassador to the US State Department. Dave was previously an Associate Professor of piano at Berklee College of Music in Boston from 1987-2004 and was one of the co-founders of the New York School of Jazz. As an educator, Dave is well-versed in teaching all modern musical styles, including all forms of jazz, blues, rock, pop, boogie, keyboard accompaniment, fusion, and more. *Registration required.
